COVID-19 Updates

May 2021 Edit:

So as the restrictions in England are lifting, as of the 17th May, we are able to adapt our ordering & delivery policies and scheduling slightly.

Order Deadlines:

For Thursday-Saturday Collections OR Friday Delivery, orders need to be placed by 9pm on Wednesday evenings.

For orders needed at other times from these, please give us a call to discuss options.

Deliveries / Collections:

We will still - for now, only offer a delivery service on Fridays - these start at our workshop from 9.30am, include our subscription flowers and then any other orders, completed in an order which makes the most sense from a routing point of view.

Collections can be made from the workshop on Thursdays from 12pm-6pm, Friday & Saturdays from 10am-2pm (whilst the bakery is open) from the OCTOBER26 BAKERY.

In addition to these we will also be going to the market at least one other time to collect flowers for our Restaurants & Events, which means we will have more flexibility to complete extra one-off orders but currently we can’t commit to a consistent schedule every week - so we would ask that you call and check with Philippa ahead of placing you order.

January 2021 Edit:

In line with government restrictions, to reduce our interactions & to keep COVID secure we will, for the foreseeable future, only be having a delivery of fresh flowers and foliage into the workshop once a week. Even with this change there will still be several ways for you to buy & receive flowers from us:

Our weekly, fortnightly & monthly subscription flowers will still be delivered safely & socially distanced to doorsteps on Thursday afternoons & Friday mornings - you can gift a subscription to someone else, or yourself as a one off payment, or start a subscription at a frequency of your choosing. Any subscriptions started before 9pm on Wednesdays will receive flowers that week - otherwise the first delivery will come the following week. (Please note that after your initial payment at time of set-up all future payments will be processed on the Monday of the week you are due to receive your flowers.)

One-off orders for hand-tied bouquets, seasonal bunches & jam-jar posies will need to be placed by 9pm on Tuesdays for them to either be delivered on the Friday of the same week or be ready for collection from the OCTOBER26 Bakery on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays. Any orders placed after this cut off will be created the following week.

We understand that this means we aren’t able to give the flexible delivery dates which we have been doing recently but we hope you can see the reasons for this current change. To help with this we will now be able to accept pre-orders for any of our one-off products up to 4 weeks in advance.
